Terms of Service

Effective Date: October 28, 2026 · Governed under the Laws of the State of Illinois, USA

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Zabiha.us, including placing hot dinner orders, ordering farm-direct artisanal meats, reserving full-service event catering, and receiving transactional communications. By using our website or submitting an order or quote, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Platform Role & 100% Zabiha Covenant

Curated Culinary Network · Partner Kitchens · Verified Standards

Zabiha.us operates as a premium culinary platform and hospitality concierge connecting consumers and event hosts with independently operated, certified commercial kitchens, licensed catering professionals, and pasture-based family farms.

The 100% Hand-Slaughtered Zabiha Standard: Every partner kitchen, butcher, and culinary vendor in our network is contractually bound to our uncompromising standard: strictly 100% hand-slaughtered Zabiha Halal meats, harvested by trained Muslim slaughtermen reciting the tasmiyah, with zero stunning. All partner kitchens are 100% Halal-dedicated with strict zero-pork and zero-alcohol policies.

2. Full-Service Catering & Event Agreements

Headcount Deadlines · Deposit Schedules · Cancellation Windows

Because large-scale catering involves bespoke butchery, fresh livestock procurement, and dedicated culinary staffing, high-ticket catering orders (weddings, walimas, corporate galas, and banquets of 20 to 500+ guests) are subject to the following terms:

Deposit & Date Reservation

A deposit (typically 50% of the estimated catering quote) is required to secure your event date, culinary director, and service crew. The remaining balance is due seven (7) business days prior to the event date.

Guest Headcount Lock-In Deadline

Final guaranteed guest counts must be confirmed in writing no later than seven (7) business days before the event. Once confirmed, headcounts cannot be decreased, as custom livestock harvesting and specialty artisanal ingredients are committed based on this number. You may request headcount increases up to 72 hours prior to the event, subject to culinary kitchen capacity.

Cancellation & Refund Schedule

  • 14+ Days Prior: Cancellations received at least 14 days before the event receive a full refund of payments made, less a 10% administrative planning fee.
  • 8 to 13 Days Prior: Cancellations receive a 50% refund of the deposit.
  • 7 Days or Fewer: Because fresh hand-slaughtered livestock, fresh produce, and kitchen labor are already fully scheduled and purchased, cancellations within 7 business days are non-refundable.

3. Delivery & Perishable Receiving Duty

Food Safety · Safe Storage · Delivery Attainment

All meals and artisanal farm cuts delivered through Zabiha.us are strictly fresh, perishable food products. By ordering, you agree to the following food safety responsibilities:

  • Customer Availability: You must ensure someone is present at the designated delivery address to receive the delivery when the driver arrives. Unattended perishable packages left at doorsteps due to customer unavailability are at the customer's sole risk.
  • Inspection & Tamper-Evident Seals: Every order leaves the kitchen sealed with our signature gold batch seal. If a seal appears broken upon delivery, report it immediately to our concierge hotline at 708-820-2009.
  • Proper Handling & Storage: Hot food should be enjoyed promptly or maintained above 140°F. Chilled or raw farm cuts must be refrigerated immediately at or below 40°F or frozen. Zabiha.us is not liable for improper post-delivery food storage or handling.

4. SMS Communications & TCPA Compliance

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ZABIHA.US AND ITS AFFILIATES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR SERVICES.
